What to create in uncertain times…
Four creative go-to approaches to ensure you invest your time wisely for future pay-off:
1.) Begin with the end in mind: created work that will go to work for you. If you’re a painter, create a series that will pay long term dividends. Same for graphic designers and photographers.
2.) Make sure the products you are investing time in, have the heart of your customer in mind. Create products that strike a chord in your customer and meet them where they are in life.
3.) Invest time in confirming these products will be evergreen. Meaning, these products will still be valid and pay you dividends five to twenty years from now.
4.) Avoid being idle. Idleness is a killer. Most creatives don’t paint themselves into a corner; they think and dream themselves in a corner. They don’t wake up early, they don’t create unless there’s a pressing deadline from a project or client. The key to overcoming idleness and self Sabotage is action. In my thirty years of creating and launching products, I’ve learned success rewards the worker that shows up regardless of conditions and self-imposed deadlines to dig and produce results.
You don’t find gold unless you dig for it.
Here are some of my “go-to” scriptures I read often and use to avoid dreaming myself into a corner:
Proverbs 6:9-11 “How long will you lie down, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest—Your poverty will come in like a vagabond. And your need like an armed man.”
Proverbs 10:26 “Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, So is the lazy one to those who send him.”
Proverbs 12:24 “The hand of the diligent will rule, But the slack hand will be put to forced labor.”
Proverbs 13:4 “The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, But the soul of the diligent is made fat.”
Proverbs 15:19 “The way of the lazy is as a hedge of thorns, But the path of the upright is a highway.”
Proverbs 19:15 “Laziness casts into a deep sleep, And an idle man will suffer hunger.”
Have a great day!

Thank you Noah for the great content! I found you a couple of months back because of your visit on the Born to Impact podcast and I have followed you ever since.
This is funny because I have just started to write my first book and this e-course seems to be just made for me.
My greatest frustration is that I suffer from anxiety and stress a lot.
I run my own business and I have a few employees and everything is going fine but I just have this feeling inside of me that this thing is not for me.
I love to write and speak. Now I feel that what I am doing is not fully aligned with my life’s purpose.
I am 23 years old and I have made some YouTube videos where I tell different messages to people.
I have about 1000 subscribers on YouTube and I’ve been invited to visit on a couple of podcasts. (That can help me to grow my audience)
I feel that helping teenagers to find and fulfill their life’s purpose is my purpose.
But wouldn’t want to “kill” my business because I have put some much time into it.
My problem is that I like to go all-in on one thing and now when I have two things. I feel that I am not all in on anything and I don’t get anything done.
What would you do in this situation?
Thank you for your help. I know that you are busy and I highly appreciate your time!
Happy New Year,
Aleksi
